The three new apartments in Samantha's Place double the amount of transitional housing The People Center is able to offer the people of our community. The emerging People Center campus now includes six transitional apartments in three homes and continues to provide food and clothing.

Samantha's Place Was Funded In Part By A Grant From The Lloyd S. and Marlene Rotz Family Fund In Memory Of Their Granddaughter, Samantha Reynolds.
Lloyd and Marlene Rotz have lived in the Tri-Cities since 1964, and Lloyd worked in the private practice of medicine from 1964-1978.
They feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to raise their family, work and live in this community. They created this Fund through the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation in memory of their granddaughter Samantha Reynolds who never had the opportunity to experience this wonderful community.
Grants from the Fund are being used to help those less fortunate secure transitional housing and a helping hand to a better life.
